Hello everyone! I just wanted to add a quick post on here to announce something VERY exciting! I’m writing another blog!!! This will be a blog about everything I love, specifically fashion, fitness, and fun! So go check it out! I will be updating it before the end of April.
Hello everyone! I know I’ve been kind of neglecting my blog recently, everything’s just been so crazy!! I did want to write a quick post just to say thank you to all of those that have liked, followed, commented, and helped me with my blog. Obviously I haven’t been spending to much time on it these past few months, but every time that I create a new outfit, or find something that’s just AMAZING, I immediately think “I could blog about this!!”. 🙂
Someday soon I will wake up and start blogging again, but for right now I’m just taking a short break to figure out my crazy life. 🙂 I’m considering writing a more personal/my life blog vs. fashion blog this summer, what do you think? Again, THANK YOU so much!!
Hello readers! As you have probably already noticed, I haven’t posted since November. Oops! I have been SO busy this winter! I’ve enjoyed a lot of family time over Christmas and New Years as well as two weeks of skiing! But now that all the excitement has died down, I can finally blog! Starting today, I plan to post more on my YouTube channel, as well as write many OOTDs and monthly favorites, wish me luck!
Now onto my January favorites! Here are four things that I’m crazy about this winter!
I love snow, and everything that you can do with it! Skiing, snowboarding, sledding, tubing, building snowmen, everything!
2. Mug Cakes!
These things are amazing! Basically it’s your own one-serving cake, in a mug! They take less than 5 minutes to make, and taste delicious!
What can I say? I LOVE leggings! Whether it’s plain colors for layering, comfy jeggings, or crazy prints like this pair, I love them all!
This is my absolute favorite Disney movie ever! It’s sweet, adorable, and hilarious! Everything from the animation to the soundtrack is perfect!
Well, that’s all for today! Don’t forget to like, follow, and share with your friends!
Hey everyone! So recently I’ve been trying all of these different facial/hand/foot scrubs, and today I decided to share with you this fantastic sugar scrub that you can make yourself! All the ingredient can be found in your kitchen and it takes less than five minutes to make, so lets get started!
DIY Sugar Scrub
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1-2 Tbl Olive Oil
- Vanilla, Lemon Juice or Essential Oil (optional, but only pick one!)
Mix ingredients and enjoy!
The last ingredient is just for scent. I would use 1/8 tsp of vanilla, 1 1/2 tsp of lemon juice, or . The essential oil can be any scent you prefer, I used lavender for my most recent batch and it worked great!
When applying the scrub use approx. 1tsp for hands and 2 tsp for feet. (I would not suggest using this as a facial scrub since it is very oily).
So there you have it! A simple, easy DIY exfoliating sugar scrub.

Hello all of you wonderful readers! Now that it’s already September the leaves are beginning to fall, the temperatures have dropped, and summer has gone. But with Autumn coming, things are slowing down, school is starting, and I will have more time to blog!
Obviously I owe you all a HUGE apology, I haven’t posted for over a month. My family enjoyed a vacation during the first half of August, and then after that school, dance, cello, and everything started up again! Long story short, I have been super busy this past month and I just haven’t found time to take pictures, write, and post. I have tons of ideas and rough drafts for future posts! I’ve missed it all SO much though and I’m super happy to be getting back into the blogging world! So with that said, I will have real posts coming along soon and Raining Pineapples will be up and running!

Aaaaand it’s here! Day 2 of my closet makeover! I painted the walls last night, and they look fantastic! (Confused? Check out day 1!)
- The first thing I did on day 2 (Tuesday) was go on a shopping trip to Menards (a hardware store). While I was there I bought a few accessories, shelves, plus everything you need to install the shelves.
- Once I got home I installed the shelving hardware.
- And after a lot of work and drilling, I installed the shelves and rods, and replaced the cubes.
- After all of the big pieces was replaced, I began to re-organize the closet!
Sadly I didn’t have enough time available on Tuesday to finish, but I’m almost done!
Please, please, please like, follow, comment, and check out my Facebook page!
Tomorrow I’ll post a video with the finished closet tour on my new YouTube channel. So stay tuned!
It’s finally ready! Day 1 of the closet makeover! In case you didn’t already know, my sister’s birthday is this Friday, and she just happens to be gone all week. So, for her fantabulous birthday present, I’m giving her closet a makeover!
Here’s what I did on day 1 (Monday), plus the “before” pictures:
- The closet started out being a HUGE mess, so I cleaned out EVERYTHING. It already looks SO much better!
- After cleaning, I removed the shelving that was in the closet. They were old, ugly and blocked the small amount of light in the space.
- Once the shelving was out of the closet, I cleaned and sanded the walls. And since I was painting too, I laid down plastic and taped the edges, corners, and door.
- After the walls were prepared, I painted one coat each of primer and white paint. Voila! Beautiful, clean white walls!
That’s it for day 1! It may not seem like very much, but when you consider the preparing everything, the paint drying, and planning the whole makeover; it was a very busy (and successful!) day. 🙂
Are you as excited as I am? Tell me by liking, commenting, and following!
And remember, day 2 will be up tomorrow, so check back soon!
